Mike & Jolene {Thunder Bay Wedding Photographer}

Wooo Weeee! How bout them thar changes! We are in a blog/website/logo/branding revamp….this is our interim blog and it will be receiving ANOTHER overhaul shortly. This has been what ilo has been waiting for. As you have noticed our blog doesn’t get updated too often. This has been largely due to some technical difficulties. I am so happy to say that the 2012 season is shaping up to be amazing. I see a lot of puff balls and ombre (seriously….I love it!) in our very near future. We are excited to showcase our latest weddings as well as families and babies. We love you Thunder Bay. Just had to say it.

Let’s go back for a minute to 2011. This was a wedding that was smack in the middle of the summer months. We couldn’t have been happier to spend the day with Jolene and Mike and their wonderful wedding party. We loved every minute of it. April at Silk and Cedar did an absolutely spectacular job in giving Jolene the white wedding of her dreams. No detail was left unnoticed by their guests as they started coming in and mouths hung open with delight! I might have squealed a little bit too. Everything from the pew markers to the beautiful flowers (courtesy of Natalia at the flower shed) was understated and elegantly executed. It was truly a beautiful wedding, which seemed fitting for such a beautiful couple.

Catherine and Chris {Thunder Bay Wedding Photographer}

Hey there, blog world! Well, we must say this is a bit embarrassing, not having put up a post in such a long time, but rest assured it’s not because we haven’t taken a picture in, oh, about 6 months, but that we’ve taken too many and have let this corner of our e-world fall to the backburner.

But…

We’re back! And so excited to start sharing with you some of the weddings and babies and families we’ve had the pleasure of serving over the last little while, beginning right here with the oh-so-beautiful wedding of Catherine and Chris!

It was clear from the moment we met that these two truly are in LOVE! The timing of our consultation was perfect; we met very shortly after Chris popped the question. It took one look at Catherine’s megawatt smile to see just how happy and excited she was to be marrying her man!
The ceremony, details, bridal party (and it was some bridal party as you’ll see!), and reception were flawless, with many of Thunder Bay’s best vendors putting their A-game forward to ensure it was a day C&C will never forget including but not limited to a 5 tier cake with 6 surrounding small cake
