"Each moment in history is a fleeting time, precious and unique. But some stand out as moments of beginning, in which courses are set that shape decades or centuries."

It's for these reasons that we originally got into photography. We noticed that we had these chinks in our timeline and we didn't want to have any regrets. So, in 2008, we bought the nicest camera we could afford and we got busy! We taught ourselves how to not only illustrate some of those fleeting moments, but we wanted to learn how to do it well. One thing led to another, and here we are today, hoping to give you the same thing we had wanted for ourselves-a beautiful way to illuminate our family's history.

ou know the story and you've heard the cautionary tails from well-meaning men and women who've gone before. They always say the same thing, "The only thing you'll have left of your memories are from pictures". While we wouldn't ever want to say that your memories might fade, it has been the truth in our experience that the most vivid and long-held impressions are the ones that are complimented with pictures. Truth be told, I couldn't tell you what our reception hall looked like because I didn't hire someone for that part of the day. I have some gaps in my kids' childhood when I didn't feel so great about myself or life was hectic.
