Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that simple is best. From dramatic outdoor setups to elaborate studio mini sessions what’s a photographer to do when imaginations are set free! And, while I do believe these can be fun and there are people who wait all year to book these types of sessions, I am someone who appreciates simple photos that stand the test of time. Don’t hold me to that though, one thing about being a creative is that we get to…create! And that looks different from time to time.

Did you know that it’s actually an artform in it’s own right to be able to produce beautiful, natural skin tones that are true to life? It can be a really tricky thing to do and something that I have worked hard at perfecting for years! Anyways, I truly believe there is always a market for the photographer who ignores editing trends and keeps things natural. And if you’re reading this as someone who is interested in photography, especially natural-looking photos, my best advice is to take the best pictures you can, as close to what your eye sees straight out of your camera. Here is an article on how to better do this, even if you don’t have a fancy camera.

And really, this is just a long winded way to introduce this beautifully simple gallery. Stay tuned for an anouncement for my Christmas minis this year. They will be in studio and will be happening in November sometime. If you’d like to get on my list, drop me a line here.
