We were so excited when Sarah and Adam emailed us to ask if we were available for their wedding day. We got to meet the two of them as a couple last year at a wedding that they were both attendants in. Not to mention, Sarah was Nik’s little neighbour growing up and was a good friend of his brother. So, needless to say, we knew that this wedding was one to look forward to. I even got to sit at a table full of folks who lived in homes that surrounded Nik’s childhood house. It was a pretty neat experience to hear memories from people who I just met about my husband who I *think* I know so well.
Everything about this day was pretty special to be a part of. From seeing Sarah and Adam’s newly renovated home (blood, sweat and tears, y’all!) to getting a tour of Sarah’s dad’s chicken coop (yes, I took pictures) to the amazingly epic, “You’re Welcome” parody from Sarah’s sisters-it was a day I won’t soon forget.
